In the last press release the manager, Ceasar highlighted two exciting young talents in Hale Vandyke and Conner Cosier. Unfortunately, Hale did not blossom as we were hoping, peaking low. While he was kept in the team for a bit as a support rider he has subsequently been surpassed by others and was released.
Conner Cosier however developed spectacularly. He has shown incredible talent and skill becoming a 223 sprinter, pretty much even across the stats with 75 SP, 73 FR, and 75 TQ. 43 in HL also shows that he is adept at surviving in the low hills in order to contest a final sprint. Cosier will no doubt be leading the White Cobras in the years to come.
Two other riders have been released: Percy Semmes and Lester Gailey. Neither had the ability to keep up with the improving team and funds needed to be freed to continue in the team development.
Several new riders have joined this season so far:
Vitomir Haralamplev - an ageing 171 sprinter who will serve as sprint teammate to Conner for a season or two before moving on
Feleti Tucci - a young 170 sprinter spread evenly across the stats, originally brought in as a better LO2, has now become a teammate in sprint races
Lean Skytte - an ageing 176 sprinter specialising in SP and TQ to become a new LOSP for Conner.
Eric-Jan de Boer - a young 172 sprinter specialising in FR and TQ to become a LO2 for the sprint train.
Slow and steady improvements are being made to the support team surrounding Conner and the team will continue to develop and improve as time goes on in order to support Conner in his ambitions to win races.
